Membrane roofs are a cost-effective and efficient option for flat or low-sloped roofs, but not all membrane roof applications are equal. Duro-Last’s flexible PVC membranes offer resilient, watertight coverage – making Duro-Last a cost-effective, long-term solution to protect your building against the elements, as well as rust and corrosion. Additionally, the formulation that makes up the PVC products is time proven by 45 years of consistent performance.

Single ply membrane has a weft-insertion anti-wicking scrim with a density of 18 x 14 threads per inch – among the highest in the industry.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE

As the industry leader in custom-fabricated PVC roofing systems, Duro- Last manufactures a variety of roofing membranes that offer a history of resilient protection and durability. The Duro-Last roofing system is designed to resist punctures, chemicals, grease, high winds, and fires. It also can withstand extreme temperatures. It is a strong, durable, and custom-fabricated single-ply membrane. It’s ideal for both industrial, commercial, and residential structures.

ENERGY STAR

The EPA’s ENERGY STAR Roof Products Program rated all single-ply membranes. They also found the Duro-Last white membrane with the highest retained reflectivity. This means that the roof can save you on cooling costs. However, the amount you save depends on factors such as your current energy rates, location, and your building specifics. High Reflectivity and Low Energy Bills – By reflecting up to 88% of the sun’s energy, Duro-Last white roofing systems can greatly reduce energy costs. This makes Duro-Last the ideal cool roof option. These energy savings are not just for warm climates.

PREFABRICATION

Duro-Last custom-fabricated roofing systems – which can include both membrane and accessories – which up to 85% of the seams can be completed in our factory-controlled environment. This eliminates most of the on-site fabrication that can lead to roof leaks. The results are a long-lasting, reliable roof. Every roof’s weakness is the joint between two or more pieces. Another distinct benefit of a Duro-Last roof is its ability to thermally heat weld all joints together that will never come apart like glues and tapes. During installation, all the seam work is performed by using hot air welding, and damp or cold weather does not weaken the seam quality. The roofing membrane comes prefabricated to minimize onsite seam welding. It also makes the installation easier, faster, and more accurate. The custom fabrication includes curb and stack flashings. These flashings also contribute to reduced field labor and chances of leaks. Since the roofing guarantees minimal onsite labor, it can be installed even in adverse weather.

With this in mind, let’s look at the benefits of Duro-Last Roofing Stystem
